Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. Now, that you’ve got your mini history lesson, what you will take away with you after reading this post is the best places in Dallas to get a margarita on this lovely day of celebration and drinking responsibly. All of these fantastic finds will take place on May 5th, so get your sombrero ready - it’s time to fiesta.

If you are wanting to be extra festive with a DJ, live mariachi band, games, and drink specials - yes, margaritas will be on the menu, this is the place for you. The ambience consists of colored lights and festive decor that will put you in the mood whether you’re drinking or not.
