6 Must-Have Eyeshadow Palettes for Spring

Updated: Sep 21, 2020

As temperatures rise, flowers bloom and beauty products revamp for the new season to come, we’re longing to get our hands on these pretty palettes. Stash last season’s palettes in your vanity (or break them out for one-of-a-kind looks) because this spring it’s all about the mauves, pastels and warm tones. Wherever your spring has you hoppin’ off to, these fun and trendy hues are perfect to get you looking radiant for every occasion.

We’ve rounded up six of our fav eyeshadow palettes to help your beauty routine blossom just in time for the equinox. Check out our picks and let us know which is your favorite via social media (@thisisuproar).

Anastasia Beverley Hills

Amrezy ($49)

The latest 16-shade palette from ABH will have your eyes screaming subtle glam in the springtime. It contains matte, shimmery and foiled shades with two new formulated pressed glitters - are you screaming on the inside yet? Not to mention, the shade ranges are the perfect balance of a color pop that is still very wearable when pairing with the toned-down neutrals. After the Carli Bybel and Jackie Aina collabs, we might have to continuously set aside money for these bomb launches. Available in stores Jan. 19.

E.l.f Cosmetics

Bite-Size Eyeshadows ($3)

Want to get the trendy look on a budget? Fear not. e.l.f Cosmetics recently released its bite-size eyeshadows in eight spring-worthy palettes. The shadows range from warm to cool tones with a pop of pastel throughout and are creamy, blendable, and ultra-pigmented. At $3 each, there’s a good chance we’re buying them all. Our fav is the Açaí You palette (pictured in the second row down on the left) - it's the perfect periwinkle to transition from day to night.

Glow Vibes ($65)

Brr...it’s bright in here, I said there must be some springtime in the atmosphere. That’s what we imagined the Creative Director for Dior, Peter Philips saying in his head when he created this collection. These shadows are all about celebrating the music, vibes and pop culture of this era, which includes shocking purples, sea greens, iridescent whites, and neutral pinks. Not to mention, the design of engraved song beats is a nice touch.

Colourpop Cosmetics

mint to be ($12)

Keep it fresh with Colourpop Cosmetics’ latest release: The Mint Collection. These nine minty shades come in blendable mattes and bold metallics that will take you from a soft pastel goth to a vibrant green goddess. Create a look with this palette alone or pair it as a transitioning shade with the palettes you currently own. Either way, no one's going to be fresh (fresher than youuuuu).

35I Icy Fantasy Artistry Palette ($25)

Not a huge fan of spring time? Escape into an icy vortex with Morphe’s newly-released collaboration with Pony Park - the 35I Icy Fantasy Artistry Palette. These shadows have a mix of matte and shimmer shades with iridescent, silk slip and glitter toppers. Each color showcases the cool pastel trend that will give you chills. We know what you might be thinking - the unicorn trend is so overplayed, but you can’t compare that to the dope makeup looks you can create. Needless to say, this is a fantasy we’re trying to dive into.

Snap Shadows ($25)

Rihanna’s Navy has been begging for new music and she’s delivering fire...it’s just in the form of eyeshadow palettes, but who's complaining? (Okay, maybe us, just a little.) Fenty’s latest launch introduced the new Snap Shadows Mix & Match Eyeshadow Palettes in eight spring-worthy color stories. Each palette features six shadows of Bad Gal RiRi-approved “rich, smooth, blendable color” in matte, glitter, and shimmer finishes. From mauve purples to pretty pastels and warm neutral tones, there’s sure to be a palette for every beauty guru’s taste.

There you have it! With any of these eyeshadow palettes, you'll be looking bomb all spring. Did we miss any of your favorites? Make sure to let us know on Instagram at @thisisuproar.
